Wanda Nara, wife and agent of Argentine player Mauro Icardi, has said he will stay at Inter and will train with the team starting today.
Reports have continued in recent months that the player has left the Nerazzurri and is close to Juventus or Napoli, but has turned down offers.
Wanda Nara posted a photo of her with the wife of Argentine striker Laotaro Martins during his birthday celebration, saying: "Another year together."
According to Sport Media Set and Sky Sports Italia, the player was later called up for training at the San Siro.
Icardi missed the preparatory period for the season following the arrival of Antonio Conte as the team's manager and the management's announcement that he was on the transfer list.
ICARDI trained alone as Inter traveled for the Champions League friendly.
ICARDI was previously published after proof of his right to train under Conte, especially after he published photos of his new home in Milan.
Inter open their season against Lecce in Serie A on Monday.
what happened?
The conflict has been most intense after the Serie A clash between Serie A coach Luciano Spalletti and Mauro Icardi following statements by his agent and his wife Wanda Nara, and the Italian coach publicly criticized his striker.
Spalletti said: "We have to resolve the situation with ICARDI, journalists talked a lot about him, sports director before talking about it and they must do so because our current situation needs to be resolved."
Hours later, Inter sports director Pepe Marotta said: "I said what I have to say. I talked to Spalletti over the phone and I will do it tomorrow.
Wanda Nara also spoke as an ICARDA agent but made the situation worse. "If I had to choose between the new contract and someone who could support ICARDI to develop further, I would prefer someone who would help Mauro," she said.
Wanda Nara's remarks have angered Inter's management, and since he is the captain, he has seen a bad example as described by Calcio Mercato.
Things quickly developed and Inter decided to withdraw the captaincy from Icardi and gave it to the snake keeper Samir Handanovic.
ICARDI then missed Inter's trip to Rapid Vienna in the first leg of the 32nd round of the Europa League "by personal decision," Spalletti said.
ICARDI's contract with Nerazzurri runs until the summer of 2021.
He joined Inter from Sampdoria in the summer of 2013.
The 26-year-old former captain has scored 124 goals in 219 Inter games in all competitions.
